The Paradox ZX8 Alarm Expander is a reliable 8-zone wired expansion module designed to increase the capacity of compatible Paradox Spectra SP, Magellan (MG), Esprit, and Digiplex EVO alarm systems. It connects directly to the panel’s 4-wire Combus, allowing installers to add 8 additional hardwired detection zones without replacing the existing control panel. This makes it ideal for expanding security systems in homes, offices, banks, schools, warehouses, retail stores, hotels, hospitals, factories, and commercial buildings as security requirements grow. In addition to the extra zones, the ZX8 also includes one programmable PGM output for integrating devices such as sirens, strobes, relays, or automation equipment.
